Smell jar
Cannabis product designed for dispensaries. The smell jar allows customers to smell different strains of cannabis without physically touching the product.
Features
The smell jar features a child proof cap and a secondary lid to access the silicone plunger. In its resting state the silicone plunger acts as a spring to keep the pressure plate compressed. When pressed down the silicone plunger deforms allowing cannabis aroma to escape.
When prototyping, plungers were made using different durometers in order to dial in the ideal resistance. Silicone was used rather than a spring to keep the product simple, food safe, and provide easy assembly/disassembly.
